You're Out !

"Mom I can't drive any further. Can you take me to the hospital?"

Words every Mother wants to hear...NOT.
 

To Richard it looked like a matter of scooping up a ground ball at 2nd base. He needed to get there quick but, unfortunately, a small error of distance turned into a body slam into 2nd base with an thumb-first lead.
Crunch! A broken thumb and damage to the palm.

To me however, once doses of pain killers and sympathy were administered, it looked like a great opportunity to try out my new Instax Wide camera. I remember the days of the Polaroid One Step and I'm glad that type of camera is back.

Talk about instant gratification! Picture to craft room in less than 5 minutes.

 I used the September 1st, 2014  Stuck?! Sketch created by Laura Whitaker. I knew immediately I would use outlines of baseballs for the suggested circular shapes. All the different coloured strips of paper made the design super fun to work with.

I used a lot of the co-ordinated papers from the September 2014 kit I got through the Scrapmuch? Kit Club .

 

A bit of journaling on a depiction of home base, and the addition of stars for my all-star player, and the layout became one of my favourites.
