@ Play

Everyone likes to play games when they get together on holiday and my family is no different.

Skip-bo has been a family favourite for many years. It can become a bit competitive but no one has been hospitalised as yet.

It's hard to capture all the laughter, strategy and physical threats, but, as an important part of our holiday, I had to try.

I used the September 5th sketch from Scrapmuch? created by Laura Whitaker. The first layout of the month is a double page and I had lots of pictures I wanted to use. This was a great layout for my project.

As an embellishment I scanned several of the Skip-bo cards, reduced them and printed them on photo paper. They have a photo quality about them so fit in nicely with the pictures.

An inked chipboard daisy, a few tags and string, an envelope, some buttons and two photographed paper Skip-bo logos and ta da! ~ it had all came together. The embellishments were a lot of fun to make/work with.
